"PEOPLE HAVE SAID  "DON'T CRY"  TO OTHERS FOR YEARS, AND ALL IT HAS EVER MEANT IS: 'I'M TOO UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN YOU SHOW YOUR FEELINGS'  I'D RATHER HAVE THEM SAY,
"GO AHEAD AND CRY, I'M HERE TO BE WITH YOU."

The death of a parent, partner or friend. The divorce and its aftermath. The diagnosis.  That sinking feeling in your stomach when the time has come to say goodbye to a beloved pet....

It is written in the facts of life that we must each endure times of deep sorrow and loss. While the experience of grief is as universal as life itself,  it somehow remains poorly understood.

When we're stricken by grief, our emotions can feel like a force of nature, ready to take us by storm at any given moment. We drag ourselves through the mundane tasks of everyday life, lie about being "fine" and hope that those around us won't catch a glimpse of the pain that lies just beneath the thin veneer of "okayness".

What you are feeling is a normal and natural reaction to loss.  There is nothing wrong with your grief, and there is nothing wrong with you. What is wrong is nearly everything that most of us were taught about how to "get over" it. Time is not going to heal it, despite the cliche.

The Grief Recovery Method is a trusted, proven program that has helped hundreds of thousands of people all across the world to resolve the conflicting and sometimes overwhelming feelings of grief resulting from death, divorce or romantic breakup, the loss of a beloved pet, and any of the more than 40 other types of loss that can negatively affect a person's capacity for happiness.

Over the course of 6-8 meetings, I will guide you step-by-step in taking the necessary actions to complete the program. Each week, you will receive a printed homework assignment based on The Grief Recovery Handbook, to be discussed the following week. The assignments and conversations we share in Grief Recovery get to the heart of the matter without much meandering. Our last session together will include a fire ritual in which we will burn your final assignment.

I bring a high level of dedication and emotional honesty to this work, and ask the same from my clients.
In other words:

I am All In.  Are you ready to begin?
